Weather sensors
Usually we use 3-4 meters laundry pole (700yen at HomeDepot) as the weather station mast. However you may choose any appropriate piece of wood, metallic or plastic pipe.
Two screw-on brackets are used to fix the weather station to the mast.
If the mast is longer than 2 meters, it's recommended to use cables or ropes to prevent the strong wind damage. Thin 1mm metallic cable from the HomeDepot costs about 90yen/meter and the length should be about 1.5-2 times longer than the mast length. For example, if the mast is 3.5meter long, you should get 18 meters of thin cable cut into three 6meter pieces.
Weather station box
Weather station box is attached using two strong plastic straps. Supporting cables are attached to the upper mounting bracket. Please, put pieces of cloth or plastic on the supporting cables to make them easy to see and avoid injury.
